I know I'm not the only one who's dreading the Hallmark holiday just around the bend, so I thought I'd write something all angsty and romantical (yes, romantical) about Edward II and Piers Gaveston as teenagers. So, if you're bored, give'er a look, and tell me what you thought ;)

Summary: February 7, 1301. Edward II is made Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester during Parliament at Lincoln. This is what I'd like to think happened that evening ;) Edward and Piers Gaveston would have been sixteen at the time, which means they've already been friends for more than ten years. You can thank Edward I for that, he unknowingly set them up, thinking they'd be great pals, mwhahaha. Poor Daddy Dum-Dum.
